I am your host Mike, and I am a podcaster and amateur hobby game designer.

At beginning of 2023, Jessica Brownstein joined the show as my social media manager. All Instagram posts are created by her for the show.

I have been podcasting for over 10 years, starting way back in 2007 or 2008 (I forget which) with the Ninja vs. Pirates Podcast (this link can still be seen in my Libsyn link address). I knew almost nothing about podcasting when I started, and in some ways, still know nothing, yet have continued ever since.

My game collection ranges from Ameritrash to Euros, from established IPs to original designs. I love co-ops the best because I enjoy working with people to solve problems.

My design work is much lesser known. I dabble in board game design. I want to explore themes that are different and games that people have fun with. I am always highly influenced by others either in things I want to avoid or things I want to emulate.

I am approachable on social media if anyone wants to chat about games or ice hockey or politics.

This show has had a few hosts over the years but those co-hosts have moved on for various reasons (no drama, just life). Both hosts are always welcome to come back for an episode or two whenever they want.
